Tuesday Morning
Little boys are fed, changed, diapered and sleeping...I've watered, done a load of laundry and am actually sitting to have a cup of coffee with my pop tart (the breakfast of champions). Life is good.

sleeping
Just got home from an appt. Brought the boys in their carriers since they were sleeping and didn't want to wake them. A priceless 15+ minutes now of quiet time for Mommy...but had to post this. :)

Andrew's Renal Valve
Took little Andrew in for an ultrasound of his Renal Valve on Monday. It was dilated in my last prenatal ultrasound at 37 weeks. Unfortunately it looks like it hasn't gone away as expected, so we're being referred to a pediatric nephrologist for mild hydronephrosis. Not great news, but also not quite as scary as so many other things could be. They're hoping this will just clear up in time as he grows...and worst case scenario would be surgery if the condition worsens or doesn't improve.
Here's the trooper getting his first scan. :) He was very good doing the whole procedure.

sleep deprivation = bad bad bad
Do you know what this is?
This is sleep deprivation.
This is Stacy turning on the wrong burner for the how manyith time, only this time there was a dish towel on it.
Bad bad bad. The good thing is that I have a good nose and was in the living room changing a diaper and smelled the smoke. The bad thing is there were already spreading flames. The good thing is that at least I'm not a real panicky person and grabbed water and dumped it everywhere. The bad thing is we had a pretty smokey house for a little while.
But the very good thing is that neither our house OR kitchen burned down our little boys are sleeping peacefully in their bed and hopefully Stacy will learn a very important lesson about being careful in the kitchen.
