dad and i had a really heartfelt talk tonight...about mom, rye and i being home...life...and though i don't feel like going into detail...there was something he said that was so poetic and true, that i wanted to share it...
we were talking about life going on...and i said, 'life goes on, but not with flying colors.'
and dad said in response, 'yes, but stace, you get to choose which colors you fly.'
i really love my dad.
