bed rest is highly over rated.
relishing in my few moments at a 45 degree angle after lunch to say a fast hello. :)
transfer went well (the bits and pieces i remember in my drug induced state) and have now been horizontal for 49.5 hours, of which only 5 times now have i gotten up to use the bathroom.
ryan has been a dream, plumping pillows, bringing me meals, massaging my legs, being encouraging and cocking his eyebrow at me if he thinks i'm fidgeting too much. ;) (hee hee...did i mention he got us walkie talkies so i can also call him easily where ever he is in the house) ;)
only 24 more hours and i can move to the couch! hallelujah. might even be able to take a shower.
trying to be like my kids when we used to play 'log' (i was inspired one day and came up with the game)
thanks for all the continued good vibes!!! we keep talking to the little blastocysts and my uterus to stay in there!
love,
stace

Things To Do While On Bed Rest (according to Cecily):
1. Cross stitch! I can bring over my materials! You don't have to sit up at all (just don't hold it directly over your face....if you drop the needle, that's bad news). =)
2. Write a letter to Sara. Won't she be excited to receive something in the mailbox? Then write a letter to Ted and Todd. They post a lot of comments on your blog and should be commended for it. That, and maybe they won't think you're evil. Then again, they may not open up your letter, for fear it contains something else you're trying to get rid of. HA! =)
3. Finish knitting that darn scarf you continue to gift me at Christmas, even if it's not finished.
4. Make a list of how wonderful your sister is. Then present it to her in song. Oh wait, scratch that. This is YOU I'm talking to. Perhaps a haiku? =)
5. Read a book/magazine/newspaper.
6. Relish the time you get to lay in bed and are FORCED not to do anything. (Then when you have a massively large list of things to do next month, close your eyes and remember how you feel now.) =)
7. If it comes down to it and you STILL don't know what to do, make a list of things that you need your wonderful sister to do while she's there. Then go back to #4. =)
Ggggooooo Stacy!!!!
Your Ryan's the best! So good to hear you're doing well and following orders.
