There is simply nothing better in the world than family. :)

Especially having my WHOLE family together for my birthday! Thanks Cec. I can't tell you how wonderful it's been having you back.

Wa'a Disney

I don't care if this is the Wa'a Street version of Snow White, Sleeping Beauty or Enchanted. I don't appreciate baby geckos, roaches and honeyswarming ants coming out to greet me in the morning.

sick at work

it's much easier to be at work sick as a dog when you like what you do.

a surprise iced mocha on your desk doesn't hurt either. :)

2nd day = house arrest

Okay maybe not house arrest, but a second day of not leaving the house when the reason is cramps and a sudden cold is not so much fun.

On the other hand....who knew that drinking expired frozen orange juice could be so comforting, and make you feel so much better...when you know it's something your Mom bought....like it's her way of telling me she's still here.

Nothing to do Saturday

Nothing to do Saturdays are glorious.

For the first time in probably... well...longer than I can remember. I didn't leave the house at all today. Pure bliss.

Made one more dent in going through Mom's things, cleaned, cooked and read. I could definitely get used to these 3 day furlough weekends.

Giving It Another Go

Okay. Since I've had complaints about not maintaining my blog, I've decided to give it another go! But with me being lazy, tired, overworked, underpaid...am gonna modify my blog so it's manageable and write only super super short entries.
