Scenes from a Library

Day 3 - Seattle Public Library, Monica & Maya (woo hoo!), International District and the Wing Luke Museum (no pics of - boo)

The main Seattle Public Library is an absolutely amazing work of architecture. It won numerous awards the year it was built, and I swear is a work of art in itself. Here are a couple of scenes from the library:

After a nice stroll through the International District (china town) with Monica and Maya, met up with Rye and his folks again and walked through the Wing Luke Museum (the only Asian & Pacific Islander museum in the US) really really a well down museum for it's size and staff, and then capped off the day with a rest at the Panama Hotel tea shop followed by a wonderful Japanese dinner at Maneki, the oldest sushi bar in Seattle.
