Two Months

Andrew and Daniel made two months last week, and while we were remiss in posting their monthly photos, the day did not go unnoticed. It's crazy, wonderful, sad, exciting and amazing at how they've grown and changed in only one month. Although still 'little' babies (I say with a laugh and smirk) it's amazing to think how small, frail and wobbly but so tiny and sweet they seemed just a little over 4 weeks ago.

While occasionally still wobbly our boys are anything but small these days. Almost doubling their body weight, Andrew is now 12 lbs 11 oz and Daniel 12 lbs 7 oz. Yes, Andrew has now surpassed his brother. :) Though it's not a surprise when you see those squooshy chipmunk cheeks and growing biceps.

Both boys are able to hold their heads up, while on your lap or over your shoulder and love to look around or at you to stare curiously at the world and people talking to them. They now smile socially (not just gas) ;)...and I have to admit it must be one of the most wonderful heart warming feelings to see your little baby actually split into a smile full of glee when he first sees your face in the morning.

Along with their smiles the boys also coo so much more these days, and can even hold a (brief but cute) coo conversation with you when they're in a good mood. (You say something they coo back, you say something they coo back)

We're still on pretty limited sleep (hence me writing this at 4am while pumping after our early morning feeding), house is a mess, cooking is a rarity...but must admit life is pretty good these days.

We love our little boys and are so amazingly grateful.
