wiping walls

never thought i'd trade the Punahou Carnival for wiping walls, but that's what we did tonight. (and will do tomorrow) :) and i was actually okay with it.

worked on the Kaneohe House for 5 hours tonight. Getting home after 10 = exhausted Stacy, but big steps and it's looking better!

well maybe not in this picture...

quadruple wiped the walls. first with bleach, then with water, then with tsp then with water again. holey schmoley. they look much better though, and according to ryan it's the first step to painting to make sure no mildew.

then a couple of paint samples...
(hee hee...none of which worked)

my malasada break was really yummy...
note the paint samples in the kitchen as well...

and last thing for the night double checking our floors. (whew! we love them. one more thing down for sure!)
(please note how much better and brighter the walls look, apparently wiping them down 4 times does make a difference! Unfortunately we think the color is too dark, we're thinking 2 shades lighter. Guru Todd, this is Spanish Moss right now. Feel free to e-mail advice) :)

Hitting cabinet stores bright and early in the morning, so time to get some shut-eye.

Boy the excitement just doesn't end,

Tim & Al
